NAGANO SHINKANSEN TRAIN FLOODED

sunday 13-10-2019 at 1am local time. The Shinkansen bullet train in Nagano's East Japan Railway Company (JR East) was flooded. the flood is caused by a 70-metre long embankment from Chikuma River due to the water currents caused by typhoon Hagibis hitting Japan on Saturday 12-10-2019. As a result, 7 series of Shinkansen E7 and W7 series that are stored in Depo also flooded.The Shinkansen E7 and W7 series itself are the usual series to serve passengers on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line. Employees who are in Depo are reportedly already evacuated to a safer place. Luckily, there were no injuries or casualties in this event at Depo Nagano.
